BNB Chain (BSC) Stolen Crypto: How to Trace Outbound Flows
Trace BEP-20 token and BNB outflows after a BSC wallet drain using public BscScan data — no wallet connect required.
BSC uses the same address format
Your 0x address on BNB Smart Chain is not the same ledger as Ethereum mainnet. Always tell support which chain the loss occurred on (chain ID 56).
What to paste into a trace
- Victim wallet on BNB Chain.
- Optional anchor transaction hash from the drain.
- List of tokens that left (USDT, USDC, BNB, etc.).
Limits on BSC
- Cross-chain bridges may continue the path on Ethereum or another L2 — document bridge txs separately.
- Mixer-style privacy tools break same-chain tracing (see our limits guide).
